What personal information do we need?

After you have made your choice and are ready to confirm your booking, we will ask for the following information:

• Start Date and Issue number (if paying by debit card)

Why do we need this personal information?

• We need your name to let the Hotel know who the booking is for.
• Your address is used to send your booking confirmation voucher, and in case we have to write to you about your booking.
• Both your name and address are also used to confirm that the credit of debit card you are using is actually owned by you.
• Your credit card details are used to take the agreed payment for your booking out of your account.
• Your phone number and email address would be used in the unlikely event that we had to contact you urgently about your booking. We may also use this to let you know about any special offers or promotions we have that we think may interest you.
• Your IP address may be used to help fix problems with our server and for site administration. For example, monitoring how our site is used helps us to further develop and improve our services.

Hows is customer information protected?

We use a secure server to protect all the information you provide us with. All information you enter is encrypted by the server's software, SSL (Secure Socket Layers). It is then not decrypted until it reaches our server. The locked padlock symbol in the bottom left hand corner of your browser tells you our site is secure. When this is displayed it means that you can safely send private information through our site. Our secure pages will not display a 'security alert' message. This means that our pages are secure and that your information is safe with us. Also, we protect our internal information from the Internet by using a Firewall (security software) on our server.

Does Airport Hotel Shop use cookies?

To ensure that your booking process runs as smoothly as possible, we use temporary cookies to monitor the status of your booking process. No personal information is collected with these cookies, and they are deleted once you leave our site or complete an order.

Will my personal information be disclosed to others?

Your name, email address and booking details will only be used for operational purposes. We will never disclose your personal details to other companies or third parties without you express permission.

Your credit or debit card will never be disclosed to other unless required by law.

Will the information be used for direct marketing?

Occasionally we may send out newsletters to our customers, but unlike many marketing emails, we do not use these emails to sell our product to you. Instead any newsletter we send will contain varied information and articles relevant to our customers.
