Luton Area Guide
Luton, Bedfordshire, north of London, can offer a multitude of leisure filled days. Its unspoilt landscapes and quiet country lanes are a rare attraction in a town this size. You could visit the Artezium museum, a newly opened art and media centre, comprising a performance venue, visual arts gallery, dance studio, and cinema plus many more entertainment facilities. The Gallery, in Wardown Park, documents the development of Luton from pre-history to the present day, and includes a new Luton Life gallery tracing the life of Luton people over the last 100 years. The night life is good too, with a large variety of pubs, clubs and restaurants so you are sure to find something to suit your taste.
It is strange to think that such a culturally diverse place is situated in the middle of three major motorways and is home to an international airport. But this only benefits Luton; in fact having such good transport links is part of the town's great appeal. It is also ideally located to visit other places of interest, such as London, Oxford and Cambridge.
