This vibrant city known for being the birthplace of the Beatles and the home of Liverpool Football Club was once the "Second City of Empire", surpassing even London for commerce at times. Historically Liverpool was the maritime heart of Britain and this can still be clearly seen at the Albert Docks, which houses the country's largest collection of Grade One Listed Buildings. The Albert Docks form a large part of Liverpool's bid to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Today Liverpool has many fantastic attractions such as the Museum of Liverpool Life, the Walker Gallery, Tate Liverpool and the Merseyside Maritime Museum to name but a few. For those who wish to pay homage to Liverpool's most famous band then the Beatles Story, documenting their careers from start to present is a must. Overall, the city is full of life and culture, and boasts great sporting heroes, musicians and artists.
