Please note that the Inter Terminal Transit System (monorail) will close to passengers on the 28th of September 2009. New shuttles will come into service in May and July 2010. A replacement bus service will run every three minutes during the day and every six minutes at night between the terminals. You should allow 20 minutes for the journey.

Directions

Exit the M23 at Junction 10 and take the A264 to East Grinstead. At the first roundabout take the second exit. At the next roundabout turn left and the hotel is approximately 200 yards on the right.

Transfers run from 5am to 21.15pm, every 45 minutes, on a loop from the Copthorne Hotel Effingham to the Copthorne Hotel London Gatwick and then to the Gatwick terminals and back again. Transfers to and from the airport are charged at £3.00 per adult each way (£1.50 per child) and £8.20 for a family of four (children must be under 12).

The Terrace restaurant serves quality food all day, dinner is available from £21.50 for a three course meal. Alternatively you can relax in the lounge bar for a drink or afternoon tea and coffee. The restaurant is open from 6.30am to 10am (Sunday 7.30am to 11am am) and 6.30pm to 10pm.

Room service is available 24 hours a day at the Copthorne Effingham, breakfast is available from 6.30am.
